Here's what we did, in case you're ever throwing a baby shower!
Games:
--Honeycomb guessing in a jar
--Advice for the new mom and dad
--Silly prizes for the games in brown paper bags with yellow paper flowers (from my other sister-in-law's Etsy shop!)
--Baby shower scattergories & other table games
Food:
--Buffet-style fruit kabobs, beehive shaped cake, burgers, potato salad, and "carrots from Rabbit's garden" (inspired by this)
--We each brought our nice sets of plates
--Mason jars with striped straws
--Winnie-the-Pooh themed food labels like "Smackerels," and "sticks from Eeoyore's house" (pretzels sticks), etc.
Decor:
--Hundred Acre Wood sign (from Wild Cedar Co.)
--Hand-lettered Pooh quotes as centerpieces (also from Wild Cedar Co.)
--White, yellow, and green flowers bought in bulk and arranged in thrifted vases
--White tablecloths
--Onesies strung up on twine by the gift table
--Yellow and white paper lanterns hung around
**In the invitations, we also asked guests to bring a book instead of a card, and we provided these stickers so they could write a message to the baby in the book! It's a great way to jump-start the little one's library 😉
What's your favorite part of a bridal shower or baby shower? Have you ever thrown one before? Any tips you'd recommend?
