This fall, I want to get outside more and really take advantage of the ability to be outside before we need boots, jackets, and a strong mental resolve just to leave the house. 😉 While I'm the type of person who wants to have a clean house, I really don't care when the kids get messy outside. Climb on the rocks! Jump in the puddle! Play in the leaves that squirrels may or may not have dug through! (See how chill I am?!) That's one thing I LOVE about fall--it's still warm enough to let the kids run around, get muddy, and have a blast. (And being pregnant means I'm alwayyyys sweaty when we go outside. Spoiler alert, what better way to refresh after sweaty, fun adventures than with a brand new body wash that gives back to the community?)
This past weekend, the family headed out to a park that's close to our new house. Having just moved 15 minutes away from our old house over the summer, we're suddenly closer to different things and different outdoor spots. Now, we're within walking distance of a park with a huge grassy field and basketball courts (which we totally use as a place to let Aiden scooter around). We let the kids run around and have fun, and when Devin got Aiden on his shoulders, I wanted to try with Emma! Of course, I looked ridiculous and needed Devin to bail me out and get Emma's legs around my shoulders haha. There was a LOT of laughter.
