easy pumpkin cinnamon rolls

these pictures will prove i'm no food blogger, but i have to share these amazing cinnamon rolls we enjoyed on sunday morning. so excuse the sloppy rolls and the pumpkin butter everywhere. ;)

what you need:
pumpkin butter
a sheet of baker's dough or crescent rolls
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon

what to do:
preheat the oven to 350. but i almost never preheat an oven because that just seems wasteful.

spread out your dough on wax paper. i used the crescent rolls, but the seams were kind of annoying, so if you can find the full sheet of dough, go with that!

spread some pumpkin butter evenly on the sheet. there's no point in measuring out the pumpkin butter--just spread enough that you can't see the dough.

sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon on top of the pumpkin butter, and don't go too crazy with brown sugar. i think i used too much bc my rolls were almost too sweet! i wish i had had more of a cinnamon and pumpkin taste, so don't kill it with the sugar.

roll up the dough into one long log.

use thread or un-flavored dental floss to cut the log into small cinnamon rolls. i tried a few with a serrated knife, but it was a wreck. thankfully devin came to my rescue with thread!

place the rolls on a greased baking sheet, and bake at 350 for....15 mins? until the tops of the cinnamon rolls look golden brown.

what are your go-to fall recipes? or are you totally above the pumpkin craze? ;)
