renewed

a few years ago, i shared how grateful Jesus' death and resurrection i was (and still am!) for how he restored a flawed people back to his holy self. this year, i'm struck by the fact that Jesus died and rose from the grave so that we could be made new.

because of his resurrection, i am renewed! the old has gone, and the new has come!

what does this renewal look like?

a daily conversation with him, where i accept his grace and lay down my sin. time spent in his word. singing to him while doing vbs motions with the baby on my lap (aiden loves "oh happy day" and all the fun dance moves that go along with it).

it's a process, this whole being renewed thing. and i'm so thankful that God continues to give me grace in living for his son that died for us!
