These are such fun little glimpse-into-life posts that I look forward to writing each month! I love that "reading" was on the list of prompts this month, because I'm always looking for a good book (so that I can request it at the library/borrow it from a friend and then take 1-2 months to finish it. See below.)
Here's what I've been currently...
Packing: for a trip to the Bahamas! I wish. Actually, I've packed up the Christmas decorations. (BEFORE February! I know!!)
Jonesing: for an unlimited house renovation budget. Before having our families over this past weekend (for Aiden's birthday!), I used up some leftover paint we had in the basement and gave our dining room and kitchen a fresh coat. The dining room went from green (which I LOVED but was admittedly kinda strange) to the same color as our living room (gray with a purple vibe), and it covered soooo many scuffs in the walls. However, I'd LOVE to be able to put in skylights upstairs and re-do our bathroom (the very first room we refinished) and get new countertops. You know, the fun but kinda unnecessary projects 😊
Texting: all the emojis. 😆😆😆 I feel as though as a former English major I should apologize for expressing my thoughts through hilariously-apt cartoon faces, but really I am not sorry. Way to go, emoji-inventor.
Reading: What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty, and my poor neighbor I borrowed it from weeks ago is probably wondering if she'll ever get it back. She will. Before spring.
Hearting: all the new Wild Cedar Co. Valentine's Day signs!!! Sorry-ish for the shameless self-promotion, but I just LOVE how they all turned out. Which one's your favorite?
