It's been raining for DAYZ, and I'm so ready for sunshine. Has your spring has been drizzly or warm and sunny? (Don't tell me if it's the latter, I'll be too jealous.) Anyway, despite all the rain, focusing on these lovely prompts has definitely brightened up the week. Here's what I've been up to currently:
Celebrating: Devin's birthday at the end of the month. (I will probably be modifying these gifting ideas. Except the super manly version. Duh.)
Reading: The Host by Stephanie Meyer. It's 600 pages, so you gotta be committed. But I'm a proud 350 pages in, and it's good! I don't usually read (I should just leave it at that, ha!) sciencey-fiction type stuff, but it's like The Walking Dead in fiction form. That sounds like a weird review. I promise it's good!
Pondering: How did I not know about Jamie Ivey's Happy Hour podcast until now?! Now I want a sweet Texan accent (which would also help me be more like Joanna Gaines!).
Sipping: My first margarita in over a year! #notpregnant Literally just sipping it though. Last night I went out for taco Tuesday at Chili's with a friend, and that drink was beautiful, along with the wonderful conversation! Girl time is the best. As are $2 tacos and $3 margs. (You're welcome.)
Going: To the beach...? Can one take a baby to the beach? Someone quickly tell me that it's not too much of a hassle! As soon as it's warm, I really want to take a day trip with Devin and Aiden. Baby toes in the sand, is there anything cuter??
